Back in December 2017 I took a month-long road trip with Lamin Cassama. During this time we traveled from my place in Salem, Oregon all the way down the west coast to Los Angeles area, over to Phoenix, Arizona, and back.

The first stop on our tour was visiting the California Redwoods. To be honest, we had no idea where to start. After having no luck searching google, we decided we'd take the chill route and just stop wherever looked interesting.

After a few hours, we came across a sign titled "Big Tree - next exit". We thought PERFECT. That's exactly why we're here. Big. Trees.

This was my first time using the Ikan DS2-A gimbal for my Sony a7r2 and it worked very well. Took some time to get used to it but, it really helped smooth out the whole video - especially the running shots!
