Back in December 2017 I took a month-long road trip with Lamin Cassama. During this time we traveled all over the west coast. Our first stop was the California Redwoods where I filmed this video using the Ikan DS2-A gimbal for my Sony a7r2 and it worked very well.
Over the past three years I've grown a lot. I'm older, wiser, more experienced, and above all, my priorities are in a different place. That being said, I truly believe Powell Peralta aligns more cohesively with my goals and ambitions as well as offering the best urethane on the market.
This summer I spent a week around Paris. During this time I met so many incredible Parisian people including Moonshine rider, Jeff Corsi. We figured this would be a perfect time to combine our skills to come up with this fun project around the Jardins de Trocadéro. Enjoy!
First day up at Timberline for the season! It's the perfect cross-training for longboarding in the winter. On top of that, it's softer bails, endless rides to the top, no cars, and more three-dimensional terrain. What's not too love?!
I may not have won the IDF King's Gate World Cup like Moonshine MFG team mate Quirin Ilmer, but I do feel quite accomplished. This is the best finish I've had in an event this big. I really tried my best and learned a lot. I've been training almost everyday the past year and it's really starting to pay off.
